Branding Basics




It is important to keep your appearance seamless across all platforms, be it social media, emails, invoices, print ads, etc... This helps your audience recognize you and recall your services easier. It also helps give a sense of familiarity/relationship with your brand if they frequently see it! When your particular services are needed, they will recall your organization, neat look, and togetherness and likely have you at the top of their to call list!


Now how hard is it to put this together across all platforms? Not very once you have your foundation. Brand boards are used most often this way you can get a sense of what your full package looks like together. This will include your logo, your alt logos (mini logos,) your fonts, color palette, inspirational photos (for colors/feels,) textures, social media icons, website menus, and graphic elements!


Once you have this foundation, you are pretty much set to set up your look across all platforms!

Where will you find these elements being used? Aside from your main website, you will want to incorporate these elements on your social media platforms (cover photos, profile photos, graphics,) in your emails/newsletters, and also any print advertising such as business cards and post card etc!
